　　Describe a journey [e. g. by car, plane, boat] that you remember well.

　　I would like to describe the outward journey of a business trip that I took to Shanghai last month. I went there for four days to help to set up a new office. The journey to the airport was uneventful and I checked in without any problems. I arrived early, so I went to a caf é to have a cup of coffee and something to eat. After several minutes, it was announced that my flight was ready for boarding, so I finished my snack and went to the gate. When everyone was on board, the pilot announced that we would be delayed for a few minutes. After twenty minutes, there was no more news and many passengers were getting annoyed. The pilot then said that we would be delayed for over an hour. No reason was given and we had to stay on the aircraft. When we took off, we were much happier and the rest of the flight went normally. However, it was frustrating that there was no reason given for the delay.

　　I’ m going to talk about the first time I went on a train. Even though it was about fifteen years ago, I remember it well because I was so excited. I remember we had four seats together — me, my parents and my elder brother. We were going to visit my grandparents and the journey took about three hours. We had some snacks on the train and played some games and chatted while we travelled. I also enjoyed looking out of the windows and waving to anyone I saw. I remember being amazed that one minute we were in a city and the next there were only fields and trees. My grandparents met us at the station and we walked from there to my grandparents’ house.
