PART 3
1. What are the most popular types of children's books in your country?
参考答案1
Well, I think that fairy tales are probably the most popular,, you know, something like Grimms(《格林童话》). Most of the stories can tell us something, and it's the first time that children have been introduced to the world around them
参考答案2
Adventure books are always popular. Dao Mu Bi ji(《盜墓笔记》) was a book I enjoyed a few years ago. I dont know the English name, I'm afraid It was about treasure hunters and cemeteries and monsters and stuff. I think theres a little adventurer in all of us.
2 What are the benefits of parents reading books to their children?
参考答案1
When kids are really small, like3or4 years old, they don t really have reading skills themselves, and with Mum or Dad reading for them, they are better able to learn it clearly. I suppose it not only is beneficial to childrens listening and reading skills, but also will create a strong bond between parents and children.
参考答案2
For me, apart from the completely obvious, like helping them learn to read, I think it helps with children's imagination. They can begin to develop their own ideas and creativity. When they start to do this, the sky is the limit, and probably far beyond
3. Should parents always let children choose the books they read?
参考答案1
No, i don t think so. Not at first,, anyway. I believe that if parents choose the books, chey can give their child a more rounded set of stories. Obviously, a kid will alway have a favourite, but a good mix, I think, is important.
参考答案2
Ye, absolutely.! Children should definitely be able to choose what they want to read you know, be a little independent. I think it's a good way for children to learn some skills and abilities that they will use in their future.
4. How popular are electronic books in your country?
参考答案1
Well, in my opinion, not very. The libraries, especially where i live, are still full of students, and people in general like reading printed books, holding them in hands and turning the pages. I know that the Kindle and smartphones now are really encroaching on our pastime, but I really wish they wouldnt. There's just something special and magical about turning the pages of a book.
参考答案2
Oh very!E- books are getting more and more popular nowadays. In my dorm, both me and my roommates have e-books that we can share between us. I'm reading Lang Wang Meng(《狼王梦》). Like I said earlier, it's a story about being the king of the wolves. I borrowed it from my friend and it's more convenient than a paper or eve hardback book.
5. What are the advantages of parents reading electronic books(compared to printed books)?
参考答案1
Advantages? I dont think there are any. For a start, it's well known that looking at electronic screens is not good for a childs eyesight, or anyone's for that matter.Secondly, certainly with small childrens books, the look of absolute wonder on their faces when they see a pop-up book for the first time is just out of this world
参考答案2
Actually, that3 s really quite a tough question. I suppose one of the big advantages is that you can look up words if you don t know what they mean, especially if you're learning a language like I am with my English. I suppose another advantage is that with e-books, you can change the brightness of the screen, and read in bed without disturbing other people.
6. Will electronic books ever completely replace printed books in the future?
参考答案1
I hope not! Seriousl, I think it would be a disaster if that happened, a real calamity Like I mentioned earlier, all the joy that children can receive from a simple piece of paper will be lost and those who like the tactile sensation of a well-printed book will be disappointed.
参考答案2
No, I dont think so. Even though technology has been developed rapidly many people still have the desire to hold a book and turn the pages manually.
