Children should spend most of their time studying or playing; they should not be required to help the family with household chores, such as cooking etc.

先否后肯：尽管小孩子做家务没那么麻溜，甚至会犯错;而且大部分的时间花在学习和玩上可以为他们日后的学习做好准备。但他们其实可以从错误中汲取教训，于是做家务也是学习;并且他们通过做家务培养了责任心，于是可以学的更好。

This is not desirable. As a matter of fact, it is in children’s best interest to spend some time doing housework.

Children are prone to misbehave. While we expect them to help with housework, we should be aware that since they are too young to be capable, they may bring more troubles than useful aids.
