First of all, no one would be more familiar to private learning than students themselves. In other words, although teacher is moreauthoritative in both the study plan and leaning process, which means they are supposed to be qualified enough for choosing the books or articles as supplement, who can give a nod to the idea that such capability isubiquitous among all the instructors? The option is sometimes one size fits all regardless of individuality.【说理的部分用让步进行论述】At this point, leaners should take the charge since previous leaning has ensured them to keep track with the appropriate reading.【对比题的传统对比论证】 I have once encountered a dilemma that the books recommended by my mentor during the reference searching have nothing to do with my topic, as he was the fellow in linguistic field instead of literature. What turns out to be more practical is the paper on my list in that the appendix is targeted to me. Under this case, I am sure that students should be accountable for the reading rather than teachers.【举例论证对说理进行强化】

Secondly, self-directed reading can stimulate more interest. 【跟进另一个优势】It is always the case that passive reading can never be compared with the adverse. Should they know the reading is assigned by teachers, they would refuse to do that.Worse, some of them would give up the study. 【递进论证】Instead, once they are given the opportunity to make the choice, they regard it as a privilege, through which they are more desperate to study.【依旧是常规的对比论证】Meanwhile, teachers can get rid of the trifle work in deciding the right material for students from countless books.
