Describe a good photo of you
Describe a good photo of you taken by someone
You should say:
Where it was taken
When it was taken
Who took it for you
Why it was unforgettable for you
The photo I am going to tell you is about me in a football match. Every year, my university will organize a school-wide football league. Each academy sends its own team to fight for the honor. The venue is within our school, which has a professional-level football pitch.
The photo was taken during the semifinal. If we defeated our opponents, we would break the record of our academy and have a chance to fight for the champion. It was ten minutes before the end of the game and our scores are even, 3 to 3. The team who scored first would seal the victory. As a striker, I kept moving to look for an opportunity. Finally, the ball came to me. I dribbled past a fullback and there was only the goalkeeper in front of me. I swung my leg and shot. Just then, my classmate who had been watching the game took a picture with his cellphone.
In the photo, my body slightly leaned to the left, my red jersey was blown upwards by the wind, and my foot just touched the ball, which changed its shape. Next second, the football flew into the gate and we won the game. Unfortunately, we lost in the final and missed the champion. This made this match and the photo more impressive. I will never forget it.
Describe a photo of yourself you have taken
You should say:
When and where you took this photo
What happened
Who took this photo
And explain how you felt about this photo
Speaking of a photo,I would like to talk about a photograph of me and my family.
It was taken in a summer in 2003. The background of the photo is a radiological ward. My parents and I was sitting on the bed and wearing a happy smile. The photo was taken by a ward nurse. You may be curious about why we choose to take a photo in a hospital.
I know, hospital is not supposed to be an ideal location for people to take photos. But this photo means a lot to our family. At that time, my father was diagnosed with a severe disease nasopharyngeal darcinoma. It was a kind of cancer. What made me even fear was that the doctor said that was a terminal cancer. You can imagine how helpless and despairing I felt at that time. My mum and I was so desperate that we can not help weeping. But my father always had a positive attitudes and fight off the disease with strong determination. He believed that as long as a person has a positive faith,he or she will survive.
3 months later,my father restored to health and created a miracle. On the date he left the hospital, he thought out of an idea that we should take a photo of the whole family in the ward.
It is definitely a special photo for me. Every time I picked up this photo, I will remember what my father said to me. He told that we should never give up no matter what difficulties or challenges we encounter. As long as we become strong, persistent and perseverant, we can conquer any problems and end up succeeding.
Describe a photo of yourself that you like
You should say:
When and where this photo was taken
Who took this photo
What you were doing when the photo was taken
And explain how you felt about this photo
范文:
The photo I would like to describe is a scenic, which was just taken by my phone. Although this photo is just a normal scenic, it was taken in a special place, which is on helicopter. In summer holiday last year, my roommate and I decide to go to America for a one-month travelling. When we arrived there, we heard from local that Grand Canyon is the most famous attraction in California. People living there suggested us that viewing canyon scenery from sky was the best choice. And we felt really moved and interested in their words. So we immediately booked tickets for sky tour of Grand Canyon. Originally, I planned to enjoy the first time of the sky tour, but actually the helicopter shook heavily and it was difficult to take any photos during flying. This made me dizzy. You know, I looked outside the window and enjoyed views by eyes without taking any photos. Luckily, after we got off from the helicopter, my roommate told me that she used her phone, taking a photo for me. The photo has splendid background of the whole Grand Canyon and I was looking at the window. I love this photo and use it as my desktop until now.

Describe a photo of yourself you have taken
There’s a picture on my nightstand that was taken during the last trip I took to Qing Dao, a coastal city in the north of China.
I took a selfie stick with me so that I could take more background scenery in my selfies. And the picture I mentioned was taken when I was taking a walk along the beach after dinner. I wanted to capture the breathtaking view, so I took out my cell phone and took the picture.
In the picture, I was standing on the beach, during sunset, with my back facing the sun, so you could only see the outline of me in that picture. It was the most romantic picture I’ve ever taken. I mean, I was standing in the flaming sunset, and the seawater was shimmering behind me. I was dressed in a long white skirt fluttering in the breeze, which looked even more gorgeous against the crystal clear ocean and reddish sky.
My head was held up high, and the sea breeze was blowing through my hair. So everything looked romantic and elegant.
The best part was that it was a secluded beach, no one else was there. So you can imagine, this picture was like an artistic photo, and I’m really pleased with my skills.
Every time I look at this picture, it would remind me of that wonderful trip.
So this picture is a constant reminder of that memorable experience.
Describe a photo of yourself you have taken
I’d like to talk about a picture on my nightstand that was taken during last winter vacation when I was traveling in Thailand.
In the picture, you can see me and my girlfriend at first sight.
I was standing on the beach, and behind me was the azure sky and crystal clear ocean. The scenery was gorgeous, so I couldn’t help but take out my phone, and took this picture, although I’m not the kind of person who likes taking selfies. I took this photo using a selfie stick, so there were also quite a few tourists in the background. Some of them were going parasailing, and others were on the banana ship, which is a pretty dangerous water sport people always play on the ocean.
Actually, I looked silly in that picture, I mean, there was a big smile on my face, and my eyes narrowed to slits. My hair was flying in the sea breeze. But my girlfriend looked stunning.
Every time I look at this picture, I would think of that trip I took. We had such a good time during that vacation. It was the first time I traveled with my girlfriend. This picture is like a reminder of that wonderful memory.
