　　I think having discussions is the best way of learning for the following reasons. First, students can exchange ideas when involved in discussions. We can get new ideas and perspectives from each other. It’s interesting to see there are so many different ways or approaches toward a single problem. It’s mind blowing to see how differently people work. Also, it’s fun to have discussions with others. We can challenge each other and have debates. When studying by myself, my mind is usually very limited and I get bored easily.

　　I prefer to sit in the front of the classroom during lectures for the following reasons. First, I’m closer to the professor. From experience, I can safely say that when I’m sitting closer to the teacher, I have better concentration. It’s easier to keep myself focused. Students who sit in the front get more chance to interact with the teacher. When there’s something I’m not sure of, I’ll just raise my hand and the professor can see me very easily and address my questions. Also, sitting in the front helps me to see the whiteboard or slides better. This means I don’t have to squint my eyes when taking notes which gives me headaches.
