　　Teachers should be kind and friendly, but not too much.

　　Children need order if they are to learn. But a teacher who is friendly is a source of fun. Kids are learning to be adults and a friend is someone who does not try to mould you.

　　Learning is hard work. A great teacher is one who makes you do a good deal more than you ever believed possible. And also, a friendly teacher makes you feel comfortable. Learning begins where comfort leaves off, some people say. I insist, however, that the two go together.
