accentuate

to make (something) more noticeable

vt. 强调;重读

acquiescence

to accept, agree, or allow something to happen by staying silent or by not arguing

'Vice President Biden’s acquiescence to such a policy should shock the conscience of every American.

 

adamant

not willing to change an opinion or decision: very determined
