where this place is

what you can do in this country

<精彩范文>

The country that I have always wanted to go but have not visited yet is Canada. I’ve been dreaming to visit there for more than 2-3 years. Canada has lots of picturesque landscapes and it also has a varied culture. Canada boasts that it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. For example, Vancouver is located right on the ocean, and there are enormous snow-tipped mountains surrounding the entire city.

There are a multitude of beautiful parks to walk through, and very nice beaches. Besides, all across the country there are small, picturesque towns located on mountains and valleys. In general, Canada is anincredibly clean country, which also helps its beauty. Another reason I want to go there is to attend one of the universities there for my bachelor’s degree.

I think that it would be an excellent idea to go and see the school, and perhaps even meet some of the professors that teach the courses I am interested in. It would also be beneficial for me to meet other students.

精彩范文

Journeys enrich people's experiences and broaden their views. As a big fan of travelling, I happened to have a long car journey to the deserts last vacation. During the journey I gained a lot of profits. Now I'd like to share this meaningful trip with you.

Last vacation, several friends and I decided to go travelling by car, because we had never done it before. Also, we chose the deserts as our destination, which is both challenging and exciting. We thought that the trip would be a great chance for us to get together, as well as see some vastly different sights from our everyday lives. We planned a lot about this trip, but we didn’t foresee all the problems coming up.

First of all, the car broke down several times during the trip, because driving in the deserts is nothing like driving on normal roads and highways. We had to fix our car constantly. Also, we experienced living in the wild, and it taught us things beyond our imaginations, which makes the whole trip even more educational than fun.

Compared with travelling by train or by plane, a long car journey brings more benefits to me. Moreover, I look forward to get more out of it. If I can get a second chance to travel by car, I will certainly take it without hesitation.

Describe an indoor game you liked in your childhood.

and explain your feelings about it.

原创口语范文

As a kid, I had an inquisitive mind. My cousins were always along with me for the ride, and we had many great adventures. Some of the best times we had were playing a game called Grab the Chair.

Grab the Chair is an easy game for kids to play, because it does not involve any fancy equipment. You only need to have several chairs ready, and that’s all. Three or more people could play this game, and for example, if five people were playing, four chairs would be needed. When the game starts, players line up and circle the chairs. When the stop signal is given, players must try to sit on a chair. The one left without a chair is out of the game. It sounds really stupid, but at that time, my cousins and I considered it the most interesting game. We always tried our best to grab our chairs, and we often laughed at the tricks we would play in order to get one.

Sometimes we would even argue because we fought too hard for a chair, but we would reconcile within a matter of minutes. Throughout the game process, the room would be filled with laughter. Looking back, I realize that it wasn't the game that was so special, but rather the people with whom I was playing. I am lucky that I had such a great family to spend time with. I just wish we had taken more pictures! Now the only photographs are in my mind.
