A family I like a lot and enjoy spending time with must be my childhood friend's family who used to live next door. I still remember vividly that the first time I met her was at a small bookstore, which was within walking distance of my home. At that time, she gave me a smile and came up to me and struck up a conversation with me. And we realized we lived in the same apartment block. Gradually and naturally we became best friends.

Her father is a well-built man with a round face. Her mother is a gentle woman who is in her 40s now but still easy on the eye. Her parents are poles apart from each other in terms of their appearance and character but both of them are pretty nice. She always invited me over to her home. Every time I visited them, her parents always prepared a hearty dinner for me including my favorite fish dishes and snacks. They treated me so nicely, especially her mom, who really excels at cooking. After she got to know that I love kungpao chicken, she began to learn it and then made it for me whenever I visited them.
