What do you do when visiting relatives?

I have a lot of things to do when I visit my relatives. For instance, during the Spring Festival period, I usually have dinner with them at their places to enjoy the delicious foods. Plus, I often play some video games with my peers because I think it’s a good way to loosen up.

Why do people visit their relatives?

Well, I think the main reason people visit their relatives is that they want to maintain or even strengthen their relationship with them. You know, we are living in a society where the interpersonal relationship is of vital importance for our social activities.

When was the last time you visited a relative?

It’s the last Spring Festival, which is the biggest and most important holiday in China. You know, I have lots of relatives. I remember my father drove me to many different families to visit them. In most occasions, we even didn’t have enough time to have dinner with some of them as we were quite in a rush.

Do you often visit your relatives?

Not really. I don’t often visit my relatives. This is because I am living in another city that is far away from my hometown where my relatives are living. So, the only time in a year to visit them is the Spring Festival period.
