Well, you know, every day we watch so many advertisements on TV and some of them we like and feel interesting. One thing I want to talk about today was a Cello Pen which I bought according to the advertisement. To be honest, the advertisement of it is a creative one, and I found it very interesting. I watched this advertisement 3 years ago in a TV channel while I was watching a live sport telecasting. I still remember it because it was bit unique and the way it was presented was quite good and touchy.

The advertisement starts with a boy who was in a school and then studied in a college and finally in a university and in the meantime the ad shows some of the successes he achieved and was congratulated. Thus he became a successful journalist and finally won an international prize for his honesty and bravery in his profession. His parents, mentors, teachers, friends and some others were highlighted at the end of the advertisement and as a flashback, the Cello pen was shown. The advertisement revealed that the pen has contributed from the beginning to the end of his success and was never congratulated. Yet this is a silent partner of the man’s success.

This ad was a commercial ad of a company who manufactures and sells the pen. Thus the ads revealed how important the pens are in our success and how this pen helps people to become who they are! I guess this was a creative ad and the story impressed me. Thus, I bought a Cello pen of it and let it be a silent partner of my life.

Can you compare different kinds of advertising methods?

Nowadays, advertising has evolved into a vastly complex form of communication, with literally thousands of different ways for a business to get a message to the consumer. For example, the online advertising and the print advertising, if you see an advertisement via the Internet, then it is classified as online advertising. In fact, there are ads on this very page, and most other websites you visit, as they are the primary revenue driver for the Internet. On the other hand, a print is taking a back seat to the many digital forms of advertising now available to marketers. However, if there is one thing that's certain about advertising, it's that being different is good。

What kinds of advertisements are there in your country?

It is a lot!!! The different methods that people use to advertise are newspapers, television, TV, movies, street signs, windows, printed materials, neon lights and other media or forms. Based on the transmission pathway, it can be classified by printing advertising, electronic advertising and entity advertising. For example, the electronic advertising contained broadcast advertising, television advertising, film advertising, computer network advertising, electronic display screen advertising, and neon advertising, and so on. Recently, the spread of advertising through mobile phone and coupon services, as well as advertising in mailboxes, has also been rampant.

How does the advertising industry develop in your country?

China is the world’s second-largest advertising market with consistent double-digit growth in which its market value keeps growing every day. Internet ad spending is now rapidly outpacing TV ad spending. By 2018, Internet advertising that will have been spent in China will be over three times the size of TV adverting spent. This trend puts China ahead of the global trend as advertising migrates online. Furthermore, China's retail boom and increasing competition among retailers is causing China's advertising industry to grow even faster than the economy as a whole. Most of the major international advertising firms are present in China.

  Do you trust advertisements?

Of course, I don't trust advertising. It is created for the sole purpose of separating you from your money, by creating a psychological desire for things you have no need for. You need clothes, but nobody needs brand name clothes. Advertising is designed to make you want things you don't need. If I want to buy something, I would like to google it and read some reviews about the product and the brand. If I see the product and reviews are good then I would have kept the product in a positive list as if I need it now or in future then I would think about buying that product, otherwise, I completely ignore the product even if there is the offer on them.
