　　My class hosted a lot of interesting events when I was a child. I still remember the most interesting event, a cooking competition, which was held when I was in fourth grade.

　　Actually，it’s not a real competition, and it’s more like a party for parents and children. On that day, every family would bring their best dish to the class。 Our family made the food my mom would cook all the time at home, called rice dumplings。 My classmates brought a variety food and soon our classroom was full of good smell of the delicious food.

　　I was very excited to taste all kinds of dishes made by different students and their families. In the end, the judges chose the best three dishes. Although our family didn’t win any prize, I still think it9$ the most interesting event in my childhood because I could have fun with my classmates and their families. I think there should be more events like that for parents to get involved in children’s school life.
