1Bitterly + cold, disappointed, divided, hostile(不友好的), humiliated(羞辱的), hurt. opposed, upset
★ bitterly 这个副词在形容天气的语境下经常出现，表示extremely and unpleasantly cold/极其寒冷的。但是我们还可以在描述一些负面的情感感受时用这个副词，比如描述愤怒或者不喜欢的感情时。举个例子：
We are bitterly upset at what has happened.
对于刚刚发生的我们非常难过。
2Completely + acclimatised(适应，习惯), alone, different, drained(耗尽，心力交瘁), empty/full, extinguished(破灭，灭火器extinguisher), immune (from/to sth)(不受影响), incapable (of sth). incomprehensible(难懂的), lost, negative, new, open (with sb) (= honest), overlooked, revised, right/wrong, untenable(站不住脚的，难以维持的)
