The diagram illustrates the process of producing electricity with geothermal energy in a geothermal power plant.
There are several important steps in energy producing. A huge container should be first prepared for storing up adequate cold water. The water is then pumped from the surface down in a 4.5km deep injection well. Geothermal zone is the next station for the water and here the rocks are hot. After running through geothermal zone to the production well, the water gains a higher temperature. Next, the hot water is ready to be pumped back to the surface into a larger container called condenser. This is done by turning hot water into steam and then directing the steam at a turbine. The steam turns the turbine blades, converting heat into mechanical power. This in turn runs the generator, which produces electricity.
In summary, electricity is produced in the geothermal power plant in several steps: the first step is to heat water, followed by turning it into steam and finally powering the generator to produce energy.

The entire electricity-producing process can be divided into several steps. First of all, a huge container on the ground is prepared for cold water. Next, the water is then pumped down an injection well which is as deep as 4.5km.When water reaches the injection well,it runs through hot rocks called a Geothermal zone and is heated up. After the heating process, the hot water is then pumped to the surface into a large condenser up the production well and then turns into steam. Finally, the condenser directs the steam at a turbine, converting heat into mechanical power. This in turn runs the generator, which creates electricity.
In summary, the geothermal power plant is used to generate electricity in three main stages:heating water followed by turning it into steam, and finally powering the generator to produce electricity.
