Personally, I prefer to travel in the popular tourist attractions.

To begin with, it is more convenient to travel in the popular tourist attractions.Although during the peak tourist season, tourists will get stuck in the traffic jam on their way. In terms of buying tickets, they have to queue up for a while to make tourists exhausted, this is a small price to pay. The government invests less money in infrastructure in less popular tourist attractions. There are no hospitals, hotels, restaurants. In addition, it is more likely that no direct high-speed trains, planes are available, and thus tourists need many transfers to arrive, which causes much convenience.Compared with a remote village or a precipitous cliff hidden deep in a tropic forest where no highway or airplane can reach, those troubles can easily be bore by tourists who seek for comfort in vacation.

In addition, the cost of traveling in popular tourist attractions is also lower than the counterpart. Because of food, housing shortages in those isolated and remote places, people will have to spend more on the ticket and accommodation. On the contrary, provided that we go to some popular tourist attractions, we can save much money in that food and housing in the popular attractions are sufficient enough to supply tourists. It is a common law that if demand far exceeds supply, the price will rise. Last year, Terry, my friend, went to Dunhuang Grottoes which is very far from his city and which is a less crowded attraction. He told me that the food there was more expensive that he thought. For example, A bowl of noodles costs 80 yuan;the hotel costs 500 yuan a night.

Admittedly, we cannot deny that travelling in the popular tourist attractions are never without some demerits. For example, it is more dangerous to travel in the popular tourist attractions in that there are a great many people, which stands a fair chance to cause crowdedness and crowd jam can lead to trampling. However, some measures can be adopted to address these problems by increasing the number of policemen to maintain secure in the tourist attractions, especially in the peak tourist season.

From what has been discussed above, I firmly believe that travelling in the popular tourist attraction is a better option.
