I would like to give him some tips toovercome a fear of interviews.

First，familiarizing yourself with the jobyou’re applying for. Learn everything you can about theposition you’re trying to get, the people who will be interviewing you, and thecompany itself. Read the company’s website, and lookfor your interviewers’ profiles as much as you can.

Second, asking a friend to practice with you. Get someone todo a mock interview with you, so you can practice responding to questions inreal time. Give your friend a list of questions you want to practice answeringbut ask them to throw in a few unexpected questions of their own, too.
